Overview
Deepr is designed to analyze voice depth on your device. We do not require an account in version 1, and we do not upload, sell, or share your voice recordings.
Deepr does not use your voice to identify you, authenticate you, or create a biometric voiceprint.
This policy explains how Deepr handles information when you use the iOS app and this website.
Information Deepr Handles
Voice recordings and pitch analysis
Deepr uses your microphone only after you grant permission. Audio is processed on your device to estimate pitch and related voice-depth signals. Raw audio is not uploaded to us, and we do not operate a server that receives your recordings. Voice analysis results are estimates and are stored locally only if the app needs them for features such as your latest result, history, or share card.
Local app data
Deepr may store app state on your device, including onboarding status, your latest and past analysis results, subscription entitlement state, and an optional display name for share cards. This information is stored locally on your device so the app can function.
Photos
If you choose to save a share card, Deepr requests permission to add that image to your Photos library. Deepr does not read your photo library for this feature.
Purchases and subscriptions
Deepr offers in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple. Apple processes payments and manages billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. Deepr receives StoreKit purchase status information needed to unlock paid features; we do not receive your full payment card details.
Support email
If you contact support, we receive the email address and any information you include in your message. Please do not send sensitive information or voice recordings unless support specifically asks for them.
Website hosting logs
When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process standard web request data such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
Cookies and analytics
This static legal website does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are used.
How We Use Information
- To provide voice-depth analysis and practice features.
- To remember local app settings and past local results.
- To unlock paid features after Apple confirms an active purchase.
- To respond to support requests.
- To operate and protect this static website.
Retention
Voice recordings are not uploaded to us. Local app data stays on your device until you delete it in the app, delete the app, or the app overwrites it as part of normal use. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Website logs are retained according to the hosting provider's operational and security practices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your raw voice recordings because they are not uploaded to us. Apple may process purchase, subscription, refund, and App Store analytics data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Our static website host and email provider may process website logs and support messages as described above. We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect Deepr, users, or others.
Tracking and Advertising
Deepr does not track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes, and Deepr does not use third-party advertising SDKs in version 1.
Your Choices
- You can disable microphone access in iOS Settings.
- You can delete the app to remove app data stored locally on your device.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can contact us to request deletion of support emails you sent us, subject to legal and operational retention needs.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or restriction. Contact us to make a request.
Children
Deepr is not directed to children. Deepr should not be used by children under 13, and users under 18 should use Deepr only with permission from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has contacted us or provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
International Users
If you use Deepr or contact support from outside the United States, your support messages and website request data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy as Deepr changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
